Well, as I write this it is Snowing!!!!!! So I guess winter is really arriving. As the 2011 year draws to an end we are busy
planning for 2012.

New blocks of the month will be...

            ~ Antler Quilt Design's Simply Adventurous. Kansas Troubles fabric are the choice for this.
            ~ Bear Lodge by Cabin Creek - a fun wool applique project.
            ~ Aunt Sylvia's Brdial Sampler will continue. These blocks are fun to sew and you will have 140 different blocks to put together in many ways.

Classes starting in January...
           ~ Beginning Quilting - 3 sessions (January 17, 24, 31)
           ~ Spicy Spiral Runner - January 18th
           ~ Quilt as you go - February 15th
           ~ also 2 jacket classes will be taught in February and March.

Further coming attractions include our 9th annual Quilt Show - "Quilts Across the Stage." It will take place on February 11, 2012. Our speaker will be Deb Templeton, designer of Plays with Fabric. There will be vendors and our 4-H kids provide an excellent lunch! It's a FUN, FUN day! You will go home with more ideas than you can imagine!

March Brings our yearly retreat. This is five days of laughing, sewing, eating, sewing and more sewing. Our silent auction will benefit another charity in our area that is unknown at this time.
